The principle focus of this degree is rooted strongly in science and technology applications whereby I can expand my knowledge of the latest in geospatial data development, analysis, and data evaluation. I am especially interested in designing, deploying, and managing custom add-ins or script tools for ESRI platforms.
For one year I attended Oregon State University's Post Bacc Computer Science Program. This program is geared for those students who already have a bachelors degree and want to enhance their skill set with a second bachelors degree in Computer Science. While studying under this program I realized I wanted to focus my studies on Geographic Information Science and thus transferred to Saint Mary's University to persue that path.
As a natural resources major, I studied the science and management of resources such as amenity uses, fish and wildlife, forests, range and water. I specialized in the area of fish and wildlife conservation. I especially enjoyed studying range management to effectively manage range areas for large domestic animals or game herds.
Completed general education requirements towards my Associate of Arts degree. I was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
Provides customer service in person and over the phone. Disseminates department information per policy. Technical support provided in the areas of: database management, video conferencing, phone administration, data analysis, and Microsoft SharePoint site management. Works with team members to manage daily tasks and special projects. Coordinates incoming and outgoing mail. Maintains department supplies and completes department purchases per policy. Maintains fleet vehicles.
Maintains security while supervising offenders by enforcing, applying, and interpreting regulations, rules, and procedures. Composes reports, updates logs, and maintains information in multiple databases.
Oversees and directs production associates to ensure company policies, safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices are maintained. Manages continuous improvement projects in machine maintenance & design, safety, and sanitation. Teaches safety courses to associates.
Maintained statics of all production, ingredients, and labor for proper reporting.
Assistant to three executives with duties including: database management, conference call management, travel coordination, accounts payables, and website management.
Perfored all closing duties including: scheduling of closings, document preparation, wire transfer of funds, reviewing documents for accuracy, reviewing closing conditions, and performing post closing audits.
This was a business management internship where I rotated around different areas of service within the park. Experiences included: sales, money room, stockroom, customer service, and general store duties.
